His passion for financial advising began at age 15 when he first met a financial advisor and discovered the power of compound interest. That early experience shaped his desire to help others make informed, values-driven financial decisions.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, TJ earned his Bachelors degree from Portland State University. He has been married since 2007 and is a proud father of five. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, snowboarding, hiking, camping, and coaching his kids’ sports teams. His family is also deeply involved in their church community.
